Zodiac Aerospace Industrial Engineer Fabrication Intern in GAINESVILLE, Texas


Performs duties in a factory environment to help determine machine and process capabilities, efficiencies, and product defects.


  1. Evaluates manufacturing processes to improve productivity by performing ergonomic evaluations, simulations and time studies

  2. Performs cost analysis.

  3. Evaluates data for capacity and or machine utilization

  4. Ensures process quality- eliminate non conformances

  5. Support Production in reducing tooling and equipment downtime

  6. Prepare charts, graphs and reports using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  7. Real-time monitoring and reporting of Defects Per Unit (DPU) to Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams.

  8. Performs other duties as required.


Knowledge and skills:

  1. Microsoft Office skills in all areas.

  2. Dealing with complexity

  3. Manufacturing Specifications, Methods and Procedures

  5. Presenting Technical Information

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer a college student working toward a degree in a related field of study.
