Kelly Services Materials Coordinator needed in West Houston in Houston, Texas

They are currently seeking two qualified Materials Coordinators for a long-term, temporary assignment.
Position Title - Indirect Materials Coordinator, Americas Procurement
Position Purpose - Provide purchasing and administrative assistance for the procurement of materials and services for the America-s sites. Provide day to day operational support and assistance for procurement environment, support Vendor master Creation and Reports, resolution and supplier set up support.
Provide local support for transactional procurement issues and vendor Master support efforts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interfacing with site experts and vendors and/or internal machine shop to schedule repairs; expediting packaging, shipping, and initiate claim process with vendors for appropriate credit/reimbursement
Interface with both internal clients and external suppliers
First point of contact for daily issues with systems or process associated with Vendor master creation - analyze, implement, and communicate resolutions
Work with Accounts Payable team on any Vendor Master issues or credit holds with suppliers to resolve
Provide insight and knowledge when vendors have us on credit hold. Work with buyers, requestors, vendors to solve current invoice issues as they relate to vendor Master issues, And puts solutions on place to prevent reoccurrence
Provide SAP, expertise to end user
Support enhancements to the SAP system with respect to supplier sites, ship to locations, master items, employee setup, etc.
Daily support and project support for buyers as needed
Process request for new vendor set up
Corrections to Vendor Master as accounting requested
High School Diploma
2 years of experience in related field
Microsoft Office and SAP experience
Classification: Internal Use
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize/deliver
Strong organizational skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to Interface with all levels of plant and management across multiple locations
Computer literate with ability to navigate and retrieve data thru the SAP enterprise resource platform
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment to carry out daily activities
