About the Job:

As a C2000 Senior System Software Engineer you will experience a variety of end-equipment application areas as you develop C2000 system solution SDKs (software development kits). These SDKs will deliver system software and hardware resources related to technology such as motor control, solar, digital power, electric vehicle, industrial drives, LED lighting and more. For this Senior System Software Engineer position, we are looking for someone with a strong software knowledge; both from a developer and life-cycle perspective.

Work will entail:

  • Identification, design and development of embedded software which eases end-equipment design and maximizes MCU performance.

  • Working through the embedded software life-cycle including requirement gathering, specification, test, validation, documentation and support.

  • Working directly with customers face-to-face or on TI's E2E forum.

  • Collaboration across teams such as marketing, systems engineering and MCU architecture to align features, timelines, and documentation.

  • Mentoring other engineers in order to raise the capabilities of the overall team.

The job requires good organization skills and communication skills. You will be interacting with several groups across C2000, Systems Teams, as well as customers and field application engineers. Presentations are expected in team meetings and monthly reviews.
