Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 7:00am - 4:30pm Mon-Thurs/7:00am - 11:00am Fri

Summary of Position

The duties and responsibilities of this position are the operation, maintenance and repair of the HVAC-R equipment throughout the CTC campus and satellite locations.

Minimum Required Education

A high school diploma or equivalent required. A certificate of training in commercial HVAC-R required.

Must have Universal Refrigerant Handling Certificate.

Minimum Required Experience

A minimum of 5 years related wage earning experience in maintaining HVAC and refrigeration equipment of a size, capacity, and design similar to that on the CTC campus. or A minimum of 3 years related wage earning experience in maintaining HVAC and refrigeration equipment of a size, capacity, and design similar to that on the CTC campus with Certificate of Vocational Training in Commercial HVAC-R.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be proficient in electrical circuitry, natural gas heating, electric motors, pumps, refrigeration, test equipment and tools. Must be proficient in the operation and use of oxygen acetylene gas cutting and brazing equipment. Working knowledge of Direct Digital Control application and operation. Ability to meet the requirements of rotating evening shift (12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mon-Thur. and 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fri.) and On Call (Human Resources Policy #425)
