The Planner / Scheduler will be part of the Jacobs Field Service. In this support role, the Planner / Scheduler will be the primary point of contact for the coordination of all activities during the maintenance/construction execution phase of work. They interact with Jacobs construction sites and clients to ensure successful scheduling of activities.
Perform field walks of work packets and prepare detailed execution plans – Planned Job Packages
Planned Job Packages must include labor estimates, craft sequences, materials, tools, equipment required, drawings and appropriate charge numbers
Development of DOM’s for Planned Job Packages
Proficient in SAP
Proficient in Primavera scheduling tools
Interface with customer operations and engineering to acquire information necessary to prepare work package
Minimum of 5 years of field experience in planning for turnarounds, capital projects, maintenance and/or industrial construction
Turnaround experience required
Must be P6 and SAP savvy.
Experience in the refinery and petroleum plant industry
Comprehensive understanding and application of principles theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards.
